Job Summary: As a DevOps Engineer at Ridein Technologies, Inc you will be responsible for bridging the gap between development and operations, ensuring smooth and efficient software delivery. You will play a vital role in automating and optimizing our development, testing, and deployment processes, ultimately improving the overall productivity of our development team. Your expertise in DevOps practices and tools will be essential in supporting our continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for various projects.
• Automate and streamline build, deployment, and release processes to improve software delivery efficiency.
• Monitor and maintain the infrastructure, including cloud services, servers, and databases, to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the build and deployment processes and take proactive steps to prevent recurring problems.
• Implement and maintain version control systems, such as Git, and enforce branching strategies and code review processes.
• Manage and maintain containerization and orchestration platforms, such as Docker and Kubernetes, for scalable and reliable deployment of applications.
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure applications are designed with scalability, reliability, and security in mind.
• Monitor application performance and proactively identify areas for improvement, taking necessary actions to optimize performance and resource utilization.
• Implement security measures and best practices to safeguard our applications and infrastructure.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in DevOps, and propose and implement improvements to our existing processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven work experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps practices.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD methodologies, tools, and best practices (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI).
• Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Shell, Python, or Ruby, to automate tasks and deployments.
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform).
• Solid understanding of version control systems, especially Git, and code review processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of security best practices and experience in implementing security measures in the DevOps workflow is advantageous.
