We are looking for a
Visual Communication Designer
who can translate Ibtida's philosophy into compelling
motion, print, spatial and digital design assets
.

You will shape how our audience
feels
—whether they're walking into a baithak, watching a reel, receiving a printed invite, or scrolling through our feed.


Key Responsibilities
1.
Visual Storytelling & Brand Identity

  • Design cohesive visuals across print, digital, social media, and installations.
  • Develop and evolve the brand identity, typography, grids, and system templates.
  • Create visual design kits for event series, IPs, and brand collaborations.

2.
Motion Graphics & Video

  • Design and animate short-form motion content (titles, teasers, reels, transitions).
  • Collaborate with the video team to elevate visual narratives through dynamic graphics.
  • Produce storyboards and motion sequences for trailers, artist introductions, and sizzle reels.

3.
Environmental & Experiential Design

  • Translate brand language into
    on-ground spatial experiences
    —stage backdrops, wayfinding, signage, and installations.
  • Work closely with production, fabrication, and experience teams to bring
    immersive environments
    to life.
  • Create print-ready production files for large format applications: hoardings, banners, vinyls, installations.

4.
Print & Publication Design

  • Design invites, brochures, booklets, cultural zines, catalogues, and packaging.
  • Ensure all files are prepped for
    accurate print production
    (bleeds, color specs, resolution).
  • Collaborate with printers and vendors to ensure fidelity and finish.

5.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with curators, writers, brand managers, and event producers.
  • Participate in creative reviews, brand campaign meetings, and visual direction brainstorms.
  • Contribute to moodboards, conceptual decks, and creative pitches.


Required Skills

  • Expert in
    Adobe Creative Suite
    : InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro
  • Knowledge of
    Figma
    and
    digital-first design systems
  • Skilled in
    motion graphics and animation
  • Understanding of
    environmental graphics and spatial layouts
  • Print production knowledge: CMYK vs RGB, die cuts, embossing, prepress techniques
  • Awareness of Indian art, heritage aesthetics, and modern minimalist palettes is a strong plus
