Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance & Accounts Executive to manage end-to-end accounting and financial operations for our US entity. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in US GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance with federal and state tax regulations.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 4pm to 1am IST
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, general ledger entries, and month-end/year-end close processes.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and banks.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of federal, state, and local tax returns (sales tax, income tax, etc.).
- Process payroll or coordinate with payroll vendors as needed.
- Support internal controls and audit processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Use accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Xero for maintaining financial records.
- Prepare reports for management on financial performance, variances, and ad-hoc analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent is a plus).
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in US-based accounting and finance.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and federal/state tax laws.
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, etc.).
- Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
