Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Integration Engineer who has a strong background in Informatica IICS to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying data integration solutions that align with our business objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, and data scientists to understand data requirements, extract data from various sources, and transform and load it into target systems using Informatica IICS.
Responsibilities:Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and data scientists to understand data requirements and create data integration solutions using Informatica IICSExtract, transform and load data from various sources including databases, APIs, and flat filesCreate and maintain data mapping documents, technical design documents, and test cases for data integration solutionsConduct unit testing, integration testing, and system testing of data integration solutions to ensure accuracy and qualityTroubleshoot and resolve data integration issues by analyzing logs, debugging code, and working with cross-functional teamsDevelop and maintain automated data integration processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliabilityProvide technical expertise and guidance to team members on Informatica IICS and data integration best practicesParticipate in code reviews and ensure all solutions are lined to architectural and requirement specifications and provide feedback on code quality, design, and performance Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fieldAt least 3 years of experience in data integration, ETL, or related fieldStrong expertise in Informatica IICS and related tools such as PowerCenter, Cloud Data Integration, and Cloud Application IntegrationExperience working with various data sources including databases, APIs, and flat filesStrong SQL skills and experience with data modeling and database designProficient in working with data storages like ADLS, Azure SQL DB, Azure Synapse, Snowflake, No-SQL (e.g. Cosmos DB, Mongo DB)Proficient in using Azure data integration services (Azure Data Factory, Databricks)Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologyStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong understanding of Data Quality principles and experience in implementing thoseExcellent communication and collaboration skills Preferred: Experience with data quality and governance tools such as Informatica IDQ or Talend Data Quality
