  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 2–5 years of experience in mechanical design, analysis, or manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and industry standards.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Development:
  • Develop 2D/3D models and detailed drawings using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).
  • Design and optimize mechanical components and systems for efficiency, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Analysis:
  • Conduct engineering calculations and simulations, including stress, thermal, and fluid dynamics analysis using tools like ANSYS or MATLAB.
  • Perform failure analysis and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Prototyping & Testing:
  • Build and test prototypes to validate designs and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Evaluate and refine designs based on performance data.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, project managers, and production teams, to ensure seamless integration of systems.
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical support.
  • Manufacturing Support:
  • Oversee manufacturing processes, ensuring parts and assemblies align with design specifications.
  • Identify and resolve production issues to maintain quality and timelines.
  • Documentation:
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation, including technical drawings, design reports, and user manuals.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with robotics, mechatronics, or automation systems.
  • Experience with FEA/CFD tools like ANSYS, Abaqus, or similar.
  • Knowledge of project management principles.
  • Certification in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or related methodologies.
