Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to lead and manage the entire Accounts Department. The candidate will be responsible for plant-wise financial management, statutory compliance, banking coordination, audits, taxation, and timely reporting. This role requires strong leadership, deep accounting knowledge, and hands-on experience with ERP systems like Odoo. The Accounts Manager will ensure accuracy, compliance, and smooth coordination across all finance-related operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts & Financial Management

  • Oversee the end-to-end operations of the Accounts Department.
  • Prepare and maintain Plant-wise Profit & Loss Accounts.
  • Manage the annual closure of books of accounts as per statutory requirements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate stock submissions and reconciliations.
  • Handle duty drawback accounting and ensure correctness in documentation.

Banking & Treasury

  • Approve bank payments and ensure adherence to internal financial controls.
  • Coordinate with banks for LC (Letter of Credit) opening and discounting.
  • Ensure timely submission of bank-related reports such as FFRI and others.
  • Manage foreign remittance disposal instructions and related banking compliances.

Statutory Compliance & Taxation

  • Oversee and ensure accurate ROC filings and other statutory obligations.
  • Handle taxation matters including Income Tax, GST, TDS, etc.
  • Prepare and verify GST refund workings and ensure on-time processing.
  • Coordinate for internal, statutory, and external audits.

ERP & Billing Operations

  • Lead Odoo ERP implementation and ensure seamless integration across finance functions.
  • Coordinate with the factory billing team for timely billing, petty cash management, and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) preferred.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards, taxation laws, and statutory compliances.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (preferably Odoo).

Skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of financial accounting, audits, taxation (IT/GST), and reporting.
  • Strong command over MS Excel and accounting tools.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication and team management skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, work independently, and manage multiple priorities.
