Install, configure, and maintain SAS software and related products.

  • Monitor SAS servers, services, and jobs to ensure optimal performance and availability.

  • Implement and maintain security measures and access controls for SAS environments.

  • Manage SAS metadata including users, groups, roles, and permissions.

  • Troubleshoot SAS platform issues and provide timely resolution.

  • Plan and execute SAS software upgrades and patches.

  • Collaborate with SAS developers, analysts, and users to deploy applications and solutions.

  • Develop and maintain documentation related to SAS configurations, processes, and procedures.

  • Provide technical support and training to SAS users as needed.

  • Stay current with SAS technologies, updates, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a SAS Administrator or in a similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of SAS architecture and components.

  • Experience with SAS Management Console, SAS Metadata Server, and SAS Grid Computing.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Shell scripting, Python) for automation tasks.

  • Familiarity with database management systems (DBMS) and SQL.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of real time experience in SAS with linux (Must)

  • SAS Certified Platform Administrator for SAS 9 .

  • Experience with SAS architecture and administration.

  • Knowledge of SAS security practices and standards.

  • Familiarity with SAS integration with other enterprise systems (e.g., LDAP, Active Directory).

  • Experience with performance tuning and optimization of SAS applications
