The candidate will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Develop customer accounts and travel within the local area to drive business into the specific hotel/cluster and to increase market/customer share in all revenue streams.
  • Analysis of local market trends and competitor activity to identify new business leads.
  • Prepare company contracts for the hotel in accordance with current business and pricing conditions.
  • Work within current business strategies and recognize potential opportunities.
  • Develop and implement creative local marketing channels, including social media channels.
  • Negotiate room rates/packages with corporate clients.
  • Create a complete Database of all the Companies, Emailing and calling for all the promotions and activities.
  • Cooperate with other departments in the hotel to create an exceptional Guest experience and build strong, comprehensive sales programs.
  • Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the Sales Director and senior management including the reporting of appointments, calls made, and business leads.
  • Attend Sales events, as required from time to time.
  • Identifying new contacts in the market and developing sales leads, and business opportunities to increase sales.
  • Ensuring inquiries become a confirmed business.
  • Answer customer queries promptly and professionally.
  • Upselling wherever possible
  • Producing written quotations and confirmation
  • Checking customer satisfaction and resolving any issues to ensure repeat business.
  • Develop rates, and group sales deployment strategies through a review of competitive data, demand analysis, and mix management.
  • Develop awareness and reputation of the hotel and the brand in the local community.
  • Coordinate with other departments for smooth functions.
  • Prepare, implement, and compile data for the strategic sales plan, monthly reports, annual goals, sales and marketing budget, forecasts, and other reports as directed/required.
  • Show around /entertainment of the clients regularly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • A clear understanding of the hotels' business strategies then set goals and determine action plans to meet those goals.
  • Represent Hotels in various events and exhibitions.
  • Participates in sales calls with members of the sales team to acquire new business and/or close on business.
  • Able to support hotel service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.
  • Work closely with the Revenue Manager to ensure proposed rate negotiations meet the financial needs of the hotels.

Desired Candidate Profile

Degree or Diploma in Marketing or Hospitality/Tourism Management Minimum 3 + years' work experience as Sr. Executive / Asst. Manager . Excellent English Language Written and Spoken is a must. Ability to adapt as a strategic business advisor Exceptional networking and prospecting skills Strong negotiating skills Must have good business acumen skills.
