PL/SQL Developer - MDSP

Description

We are looking for an experienced Oracle backend developer, who is eager to harness his/her skills and expertise in a growing business area, who is comfortable with and excited about optimization, tunning, and database modelling, is result-driven and truly caring about team and code.

The product for which we are recruiting is a Demand & Supply Planning solution which we have successfully deployed in 15 countries, and we plan to extend further both horizontally and vertically. You will be part of an international team of experts distributed between 3 countries Romania, Germany, and India.

Responsibilities
  • Development, maintenance, and support of database objects (including interfaces) and create shell scripts.
  • Analyze and contribute to functional specifications.
  • Manual and automated testing (unit, regression, performance, functional tests)
  • Analysis and improvement of data processing
  • Constantly working on process improvements and product stability
  • Write technical documentation. 
Critical skills
  • Strong knowledge and experience (minimum 5 years) in PL/SQL development.
  • Knowledge of XML and Json.
  • Knowledge of shell scripting on a Linux/Unix operating system (optional)
  • Previous experience working with JDA (Blue Yonder software), optional
  • Previous experience in data modelling and SQL performance tuning
  • Willingness to learn and work using Agile / Dev Ops methodologies, practices, and tools.
  • High interest in continuous learning and development (new tools, technologies, methodologies)
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate efficiently.
  • Self-motivated to achieve consistently high-quality results.
  • Ability to think out of the box and challenge the status quo.
  • Openness to share knowledge and best practices with the team.
  • Good command of English, both spoken and written.
  • University degree in information technology or comparable education.
  • Availability for operational oncall activities.
