Job Title: BIW Pre-Process Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Planning: Develop and document BIW assembly processes for new and existing vehicle platforms.
  • Tooling & Equipment: Define tooling requirements and collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and integration.
  • Layout Design: Create and optimize plant layouts for BIW lines, including robot stations and manual work zones.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design and Simulation teams to ensure manufacturability.
  • Strong understanding of automotive body structures, joining technologies (welding, riveting, adhesives), and material handling.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles

Preferred Skills :

  • Experience with OEM or Tier-1 automotive suppliers.
  • Knowledge of global manufacturing standards and practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and project management abilities.
  • CATIA V5/UG NX/Inventor/Solid Works/Process Simulate
