What are we looking for?

We are seeking a strategic and experienced professional to join our team as VP - Product at Pension Fund Management. The ideal candidate will bring 10-15 years of relevant experience in mutual funds, pension products, retirement solutions, or long-term investment instruments, and hold an MBA from a Tier 1, 2, or 3 institute.

The candidate should have a strong background in product strategy and development, with a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks (PFRDA, SEBI, etc.), customer needs in the retirement space, and the competitive landscape of long- term financial products.

What does the job entail?

Product Strategy: Design and execute product strategies aligned with growth objectives and evolving market dynamics in the pension and mutual fund space.

Product Development: Lead end-to-end product lifecycle management-from ideation and regulatory approvals to launch, performance tracking, and enhancement.

Market & Regulatory Research: Conduct in-depth research on customer behavior, market trends, and competitor offerings. Stay abreast of regulatory changes from PFRDA, SEBI, and other relevant bodies.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (investment, operations, compliance, marketing, distribution) and external stakeholders to ensure seamless product execution and positioning.

Customer-Centric Innovation: Integrate customer feedback and behavioral insights to refine product features and improve adoption and retention.

Financial Oversight: Monitor product performance metrics, manage profitability targets, and support pricing and cost optimization strategies.

Compliance & Governance: Ensure all products meet regulatory and internal governance standards, with timely documentation and audit readiness.

Work exp:

10-15 years of experience in mutual funds, pension products, or long-term investment solutions

Proven track record in product development and strategic execution

Familiarity with PFRDA guidelines and retirement planning frameworks

Demonstrated success in launching and managing pension or mutual fund products

Experience working with regulatory bodies and navigating approval processes

Proven ability to drive product innovation and align offerings with customer and business needs

Exposure to digital enablement and tech-driven product solutions

Essential Qualification:

MBA from a Tier 1, 2 institute

Preferred Skills:

Strong understanding of financial products and investment-linked instruments

Excellent leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills

Analytical mindset with proficiency in data interpretation and market analysis

Effective communication and stakeholder management

Strategic thinking with execution rigor
