Should be conversant with Chemical and related industry Job Responsibilities Responsibility Review the technical requirements and provide inputs at post-order stage of order processing Resolve technical queries related to product design and customer requirements Review and evaluate associated risk with product requirements at design input Ensure implementation and maintenance of departmental procedural requirements Experience / Qualifications

A high caliber engineering/science graduate with or without PG as MBA.

Preferably having experience in Composite industry.

He / She should have a thorough understanding of the drivers of the business and should have demonstrated the ability to adapt and deliver in an aggressive and competitive environment.

Having knowledge of ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001: 2015, ISO 45001: 2018

Job Description

Determine competence requirements for subordinates.

Carry out periodic competence assessment of subordinates and initiate necessary actions to develop necessary competence Impart technical awareness to subordinates Responsible to mentor team and ensure maximum productivity can be achieved among all team member Carry out design final review and verification as applicable Carry out design validation and approval as applicable Ensure adherence to departmental procedural requirements Ensure control over relevant documents and records as applicable including documents of external origin. Ensure implementation of corrections / corrective actions / preventive actions as applicable Visit customer sites whenever required Authority Fully authorised to take all decisions related to costing in consultation with higher authority Resource utilization in terms of team, m/c and systems to expedite services. Finalize techno-commercial offer (in consultation with MD as required) to be submitted to client Authorized for the design validation approval Accountability Impact on product quality due to improper design validation Key Result Areas Error less design based on the product performance % of issue control copy from Design Inception as per SLA Design Review meetings Department Document control as per procedural requirement Non fulfillment of departmental target Timely competence assessment of subordinates
