Role and Responsibilities

· Prepare GA drawings, SLDs, and wiring diagrams for LT panels, MCCs, PCCs, APFC panels, and control panels using AutoCAD.

· Design panel layouts, busbar sizing, and component selection based on load calculations and system requirements.

· Analyse tender documents, BOQs, and technical specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates.

· Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to obtain quotations for switchgear components, cables, and accessories.

· Prepare technical and commercial offers for tenders and customer inquiries.

· Support the sales team during technical discussions and design clarifications.

· Ensure that all designs comply with IEC/IS standards and customer specifications.

· Participate in design reviews and implement value engineering to optimize cost and performance.

· Maintain a database of material costs, vendor lists, and past project estimates for reference.

Candidate Skill Set

· Proficient in AutoCAD (2D) and MS Excel; familiarity with E-plan or similar tools is an advantage.

· Strong understanding of switchgear components (MCB, MCCB, ACB, contactors, relays, etc.).

· Good knowledge of electrical drawings, protection schemes, and cable sizing.

· Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

· Ability to work on multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's or Diploma degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

· A quick learner with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

· A collaborative team player who thrives in a startup environment.

· Passion for building high-impact, scalable embedded products using the latest technologies.
