Job Title: Electrical Engineer – Plant Operations & Maintenance

Experience: 3–5 Years

Location: Udaipur (Raj.)

Shift: Rotational – All 3 Shifts

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer who can independently handle plant electrical operations and maintenance in a continuous manufacturing environment. The role requires hands-on expertise, shift flexibility, and strict adherence to plant safety and security policies, including restricted mobile phone usage inside the plant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day electrical plant operations and maintenance to ensure uninterrupted production.
  • Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues related to motors, panels, drives, PLCs, and plant equipment.
  • Ensure safe operation of electrical installations in compliance with statutory and company standards.
  • Coordinate with production, mechanical, and utility teams during operations and shutdowns.
  • Monitor electrical loads, energy consumption, and equipment health.
  • Maintain maintenance logs, shift reports, and breakdown records.
  • Support installation, commissioning, and modification of electrical systems.
  • Take ownership of assigned shifts and ensure proper shift handover.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
  • 3–5 years of experience in plant operations and maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, control panels, motors, VFDs, and PLCs.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong troubleshooting and fault-analysis skills.
  • Ability to work independently during shifts.
  • Good coordination and communication skills.
  • High focus on safety, discipline, and compliance.
  • Responsible and proactive approach toward plant uptime.

Shift & Work Conditions

  • Willing to work in rotational 3 shifts.
  • Mobile phone usage restricted inside the plant as per company policy.
  • Must follow all plant safety, security, and operational rules.

Preferred

  • Experience in continuous process industries.
  • Knowledge of statutory electrical compliance and safety audits.
  • Immediate or short notice period preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18, ₹25,000.00 per month
