Overview: The Electrical Site Engineer plays a crucial role in overseeing electrical projects on-site. They are responsible for ensuring that electrical systems are designed, installed, and maintained to meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting site surveys and inspections to assess electrical systems and identify potential issues.
  • Collaborating with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to plan and execute electrical installations.
  • Ensuring compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Managing the procurement of electrical materials and equipment.
  • Supervising the installation and testing of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
  • Resolving technical problems and providing on-site guidance to the construction team.
  • Preparing and reviewing electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Coordinating with subcontractors and vendors to meet project timelines and budgetary requirements.
  • Conducting regular quality inspections and implementing corrective measures as needed.
  • Providing technical support during the commissioning and handover of electrical systems.
  • Maintaining accurate project documentation and reports.
  • Conducting training sessions and workshops on electrical best practices and safety protocols.
  • Participating in project meetings and providing progress updates to stakeholders.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of electrical design and construction processes.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in electrical project management and site supervision.
  • Thorough knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Solid understanding of construction processes and techniques.
  • Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to travel to different project sites as required.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
  • Familiarity with sustainable and energy-efficient electrical solutions is a plus.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of technological advancements in the electrical industry.
