Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Scratch Coder to design and build interactive games, simulations, and animations using the Scratch platform. The candidate should have a strong sense of creativity, logical problem-solving skills, and the ability to develop projects that meet client or organizational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop interactive games, simulations, and animations using Scratch.
  • Translate project requirements into functional Scratch programs.
  • Implement coding logic using loops, events, variables, and conditions.
  • Debug and optimize Scratch projects to ensure smooth performance.
  • Collaborate with project managers, educators, or clients to create engaging digital experiences.
  • Document coding processes and provide user guides when required.
  • Explore new ideas to enhance Scratch projects with storytelling, gamification, and creativity.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with Scratch programming and project creation.
  • Strong logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver projects on time.
  • Creativity in game design and digital storytelling.
  • Basic understanding of computer programming concepts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Animation, Game Design, or related field (preferred, not mandatory).
  • Prior experience in building Scratch projects for schools, competitions, or clients.
  • Knowledge of gamification and user engagement strategies.
  • Familiarity with block-based coding platforms beyond Scratch (e.g., MIT App Inventor, MakeCode).
