Salesforce Commerce Cloud- Sub-Contractor

Job Summary:

 We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC/Demandware) professional with 5–8 years of hands-on experience in implementing, customizing, and optimizing e-commerce solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading technical design, development, and integration efforts, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-performing e-commerce solutions.

 Required Skills & Experience:

• 4–8 years of overall IT experience with at least 4+ years in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware).
• Strong expertise in SFRA framework.
• Solid experience in JavaScript (ES6+), , HTML5, CSS3/SASS, ISML, and JSON.
• Hands-on knowledge of OCAPI, SCAPI, REST APIs, and integrations.
• Experience with third-party integrations such as payment gateways, tax, shipping, analytics, OMS, and CRM.
• Knowledge of Commerce Cloud and configuration (catalogs, promotions, campaigns, price books).
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions/Bitbucket), Git, and version control.
• Good understanding of cloud architecture, caching strategies (Akamai/Redis), and performance tuning.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Good to Have:

• Salesforce certifications like Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer, B2C Architect.
• Exposure to Salesforce Service Cloud/Marketing Cloud integration.
• Experience in headless commerce and Composable Commerce using APIs
• Integration experience with CRM, ERP etc 
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and analytics (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end development and customization of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) solutions (SFRA).
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements and design technical solutions.
• Develop reusable cartridges, ISML templates, controllers, pipelines, and custom scripts.
• Implement OCAPI, SCAPI, and REST/SOAP web services integrations with external systems (ERP, CRM, OMS, PIM, Payment Gateways, Marketing tools).
• Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and security best practices in SFCC implementations.
• Lead and mentor junior developers, perform code reviews, and enforce coding standards.
• Participate in release planning, CI/CD, and deployment activities.
• Work on multi-site, multi-locale, and multi-currency implementations.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide Level 3 support when required.
• Stay updated with Salesforce Commerce Cloud new features, roadmap, and industry best practices.
