We are seeking a hands-on, automation-driven Solution Architect with deep technical expertise in Java/J2EE, .NET, and Oracle to lead legacy modernization and enterprise automation initiatives.

This role is ideal for an architect who believes that every build, deployment, and validation should be automated someone who can blend architecture excellence with engineering discipline in test automation, configuration management, and performance optimization.

The candidate will drive end-to-end transformation — from re-architecting legacy systems to building fully automated, scalable, and continuously tested modern platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect modernization and migration programs with automation as a design principle. 

    • Define and implement test automation frameworks across UI, API, integration, and regression layers using Selenium, JUnit/TestNG, Postman/Newman, PyTest, and Cypress. 

    • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines ensuring "zero manual validation" releases. 

    • Establish a shift-left testing culture using TDD / BDD principles. 

    • Lead creation of mocking, stubbing, and service virtualization frameworks. 

    • Drive continuous test coverage measurement and automated defect triage. 

    • Architect and standardize config-as-code and infra-as-code practices using Ansible, Terraform, Helm, and Kubernetes. 

    • Lead performance engineering: profiling, load simulation, optimization using JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner. 

    • Build automated performance test suites integrated into nightly runs. 

    • Re-architect legacy systems into modular, microservices or cloud-native architectures using Spring Boot, .NET Core, and containerization. 

    • Govern design standards, coding best practices, and CI/CD policies for consistent, testable delivery pipelines.

  • Java / J2EE: Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, RESTful APIs 

    • .NET / .NET Core: ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Entity Framework 

    • Databases: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL 

    • Automation Frameworks: Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Postman/Newman, PyTest, Cypress, Cucumber (BDD) 

    • Performance Testing: JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner 

    • Configuration Management: Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Helm, Docker, Kubernetes 

    • Cloud Platforms: AWS / Azure 

    • CI/CD Integration: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions

Architectural Competencies

  • Automation-driven modernization – rehost, refactor, rearchitect with full test coverage. 

    • Microservices, API-first, and event-driven architecture expertise. 

    • Strong understanding of test data management, environment strategy, and continuous QA. 

    • Deep knowledge of NFRs: performance, scalability, resilience, and security.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field. 

    • Preferred: AWS/Azure Architect, ISTQB Advanced/Selenium, TOGAF, or Performance Testing certifications.

Preferred Experience

  • Modernization from monolithic legacy to microservices/cloud-native. 

    • Implementation of comprehensive automated testing frameworks. 

    • Experience in CI/CD-driven quality gates and zero-downtime releases. 

    • Exposure to AI-powered or self-healing automation frameworks (e.g., Mabl, Testim, Functionize).
