Job Overview

The Floor Manager position at our Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) in Hyderabad is a mid-level, full-time role requiring candidates with 1 to 3 years of work experience. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of service efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience with team leadership to guide and inspire staff through hands-on management techniques (Mandatory skill).
  • Ability in health and safety compliance to ensure workplace meets regulatory standards consistently (Mandatory skill).
  • Strength in operational efficiency to optimize workflow and procedures ensuring productivity is maximized (Mandatory skill).
  • Experience with point of sale (POS) systems to manage transactions and sales data effectively and accurately.
  • Skills in inventory management to maintain adequate stock levels and reduce wastage by forecasting needs accurately.
  • A strong focus on customer service excellence to enhance the dining experience and handle customer queries promptly.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software to organize staff shifts smoothly ensuring sufficient coverage at all times.
  • Capable of conflict resolution by navigating disputes or concerns among staff members or customers professionally.

  • Manage daily operations on the restaurant floor to ensure the smooth running of services without interruptions.
  • Lead and motivate team members, providing training, feedback, and support to enhance performance and teamwork.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular audits and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Ensure optimal operational efficiency by coordinating between kitchen and service staff to maintain high standards.
  • Handle escalated customer service issues promptly and effectively while fostering a customer-centric environment.
  • Oversee inventory levels and suppliers to maintain consistent product availability for seamless operations.
  • Prepare work schedules for staff members that meet business needs while respecting labor laws and requirements.
  • Report on performance metrics and suggest improvements for enhancing the overall service delivery and team productivity.
