Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Financial Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with Indian GAAP and/or IFRS.
  • Finalization of accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate variances.

2. Taxation

  • Manage direct and indirect tax compliance including income tax, TDS, GST, etc.
  • Prepare and review tax returns, ensure timely submissions.
  • Coordinate with external consultants and authorities for tax assessments and filings.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with transfer pricing regulations if applicable.

3. Auditing

  • Coordinate and support statutory, internal, and tax audits.
  • Prepare audit schedules and respond to auditor queries.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Assist in SOX compliance or other regulatory reporting if required.

4. Other Finance Functions

  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Support process improvements and automation in finance operations.
  • Work with cross-functional teams on finance and compliance-related matters.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualification
    : Chartered Accountant (CA)
  • Experience
    : 2–3 years post-qualification experience in a similar role.
  • Technical Skills
    : Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation laws, and auditing standards.
  • Tools
    : Proficient in MS Excel, Tally, SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Soft Skills
    : Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Preferred Background:

  • Candidates from a consulting background will be preferred, having relevant experience in finance and accounts, and who can join immediately or within 15–20 days.
