Role & responsibilities
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supply & EPC Costing Specialist to collaborate closely with our manager in handling all aspects of Supply and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) inquiries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for thoroughly reviewing tenders and enquiries, evaluating risk factors, proposing effective risk mitigation strategies, and actively participating in the preparation and submission of expressions of interest, tenders, proposals, and presentations to both corporate and public sector clients.
Market Engagement and Relationship Building:
Schedule and attend meetings or calls with State and Central Transmission Utilities, NHAI, NHAI Concessionaires, NCRTC, DMRC, DFCC, PWD, Realtors, and Private Utilities.
Generate leads through various channels, foster enduring client relationships, and expand the sales pipeline.
Sales and Business Development:
Generate leads, establish client relationships, and convert opportunities into orders.
Develop short- and long-term sales plans, achieve revenue goals, and explore upselling opportunities.
Define and analyze key metrics, implement strategic sales plans, and monitor progress with the Business Development team.
Tender Management:
Collect tender information, inquiries, and record them systematically in tender registers. Update and maintain Opportunity/Tender registers, ISO formats, and trackers.
Scrutinize and evaluate entire tender documents, prepare comprehensive tender synopsis, Risk registers.
Conduct regular funnel review meetings and ensure document and data control at all stages.
Vendor Management:
Build a diverse vendor base, evaluate offers, and negotiate to secure competitive rates.
Ensure the right mix of vendors, analyze historical KPIs, and introduce new suppliers.
Monitor the global market, evaluate vendor accreditation, and collaborate with departments.
Stay informed about emerging technologies to contribute to vendor sustainability.
Technical and Commercial Responsibilities:
Demonstrate industry knowledge, engage with industry consultants, and gather relevant information.
Provide comprehensive proposals to upper management, initiate implementations, and conduct competitive analysis.
Analyze inquiries, meet with clients, and prepare techno-commercial offers aligned with tender specifications.
Engage in negotiations with customers, ensuring course corrections within specified guidelines.
Order Fulfillment and Delivery:
Coordinate timely delivery of orders, monitor supply and installation progress to prevent delays.
Participate in technical and commercial discussions with clients, follow up for order receipt, and review contract documents.
Submit weekly Tender Status Reports and Monthly Progress Reports to highlight outcomes.
Professional Development and Compliance:
Stay updated on professional and technical advancements through educational workshops and publications.
Uphold the company's name, work ethics, and vision.
Participate in audits, address auditor queries, and minimize Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
Adaptability and Additional Responsibilities:
Be adaptable to additional responsibilities as per business requirements.
Uphold company standards and work towards achieving organizational objectives.
