Job Purpose:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Leader of Cloud and Data Practice to join our team in Pune. This role will be responsible for leading our Cloud Engineering and Architecture team, as well as our Data Science and Data Engineering teams in India. The ideal candidate will be a strong collaborator, working closely with our US team to drive innovation and excellence in our cloud and data initiatives.

Job Duties & Responsibilities*:

  • Lead and manage the Cloud Engineering and Architecture team, ensuring the successful design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud solutions using Azure.

  • Oversee the Data Science and Data Engineering teams, driving the development and deployment of data solutions using technologies such as Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, Databricks, and Alation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the US and India to align cloud and data strategies with business objectives.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

  • Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of cloud and data solutions.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the practice.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

  • Perform other duties and projects as requested.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • With 12+ years of total experience with at least 5 years in Cloud Engineering and Architecture and 3+ years in DE/DS. Proven experience in leading cloud engineering and architecture teams, with a strong focus on Azure.

  • Extensive experience in data engineering and data science, with proficiency in Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, Databricks, and Alation.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams across different geographies.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong leadership and mentorship abilities.
