Job Title: Sales Engineer / Manager Environmental & Plant Growth Chambers

Location: New Delhi

Role:

Territory Priority Preferences for RM Sales North Region:

  1. First Preference:

    Candidates with experience in Plant Growth Chambers sales, specifically with Government customers, and possessing knowledge of tender bidding processes are highly preferred and considered most suitable.
  2. Second Preference (Alternative):

    Candidates from a sales background with experience in Handling Biotechnology test equipment/products sales to target Government customers, coupled with tender bidding knowledge.
  3. Third Preference (Alternative):

    Candidates with a sales background in Industrial Chambers.

  • Microbiology & Cell Culture Equipment (including Incubators)

What Youll Do

1. Customer Engagement & Requirement Analysis

  • Collaborate with customers to understand their technical needs, discuss potential applications, and support them throughout the sales cycle — from technical discussions to commercial negotiations — via calls, emails, and site visits.

2. Solution Development & Presentation

  • Work closely with internal teams and technical partners to design suitable solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver impactful technical presentations that align with customer requirements and demonstrate value-driven offerings.

3. Order Finalisation & Negotiations

  • Lead the negotiation and finalization process for orders by aligning technical and commercial parameters.
  • Manage techno-commercial communications and government bidding processes with precision.

4. Sales Planning

  • Identify and generate leads for Environmental Test Chambers, Plant Growth Chambers, and Electrodynamic Vibration Shakers.
  • Plan and execute weekly customer interactions, ensure timely proposal submissions, and maintain detailed reporting for sales tracking.

5. Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, and visit reports to the Sales Manager in line with defined timelines, ensuring transparency and accountability in all sales activities.

Your Success is Grounded In-

Educational Background:

  • BE or Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electronics Engineering.

Experience:

  • 5–10 years of proven experience in service management, with a strong interest in electro-mechanical machinery.

Technical Acumen:

  • Quick understanding of technical concepts and product applications.

Problem-Solving Skills:

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to handle diverse technical challenges effectively.

Industry Insight:

  • Prior experience with capital equipment and material testing instruments will be an added advantage.

Effective Communication:

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills to influence decisions and drive results.
