As a SAP BRIM - Convergent Charging (CC) Technical Consultant/Analyst/Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Convergent Charging solutions within the SAP BRIM landscape. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure the successful integration and configuration of Convergent Charging components to support complex billing and revenue management processes. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Solution Design: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs for Convergent Charging solutions. Design end-to-end billing and charging processes to support diverse business models and revenue streams.
  2. Convergent Charging Configuration: Configure SAP Convergent Charging modules to support rating, charging, and billing for various services such as telecommunications, utilities, and digital content. Define charging plans, rate tables, and pricing rules to meet business requirements.
  3. Integration: Integrate Convergent Charging with other SAP BRIM modules such as Convergent Invoicing (CI), Subscription Order Management (SOM), and SAP S/4HANA Finance. Implement interfaces and APIs to exchange data with external systems including CRM, ERP, and provisioning systems.
  4. Custom Development: Develop custom enhancements and extensions to extend the functionality of Convergent Charging as per business requirements. Write custom code in ABAP, Java, or other programming languages to implement complex charging scenarios and business rules.
  5. Testing and Quality Assurance: Plan and execute system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and performance testing for Convergent Charging solutions. Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of charging processes under various load conditions.
  6. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, configuration guides, and test scripts. Provide training and knowledge transfer to end-users and support teams on Convergent Charging functionality and best practices.
  7. Troubleshooting and Support: Investigate and resolve technical issues related to Convergent Charging configuration, integration, and performance. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for production systems, including monitoring, incident management, and problem resolution.
  8. Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest SAP BRIM and Convergent Charging developments, including new features, enhancements, and best practices. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to optimize billing and revenue management processes.
