Job Title: Field Sales Representative (B2B & B2C)
Location: Coimbatore (extensive city travel; occasional Tamil Nadu travel)
Reports To: Sales Lead
Role Objective
Be Nutrialgos on-ground growth driver: win and grow B2B accounts (distributors, pharmacies, gyms, organic/health stores, clinics, cafs/juice bars) and run B2C activations (stalls, samplings, events) that convert into repeat sales. Educate consumers and trade partners on spirulina, proteins, green foods, vegan nutrition—and turn trials into orders.
Key Responsibilities
- Territory & Coverage
- Plan a weekly beat/route; cover target outlets and communities on schedule.
- Open new accounts: gyms, nutrition/health stores, pharmacies, wellness clinics, cafs, modern/general trade.
- Drive primary orders (distributor/stockist) and secondary sales (retail offtake).
- B2B Sales & Partnerships
- Prospect, pitch, negotiate and close; set MOQs, schemes, and visibility.
- Manage distributor onboarding, KYC, order booking, collections coordination, returns.
- Run in-store trainings for staff; ensure planogram/POSM compliance; track share of shelf.
- B2C Activations
- Set up and run demos/samplings at gyms, RWAs/apartments, colleges, events, expos.
- Deliver a clean, compliant product education pitch; capture leads via QR/WhatsApp; convert on the spot (cash/UPI).
- Maintain hygiene & safety at stalls; manage kits, samples, and stock.
- Expert Ecosystem
- Work closely with nutritionists, dietitians, coaches, physios, wellness experts: schedule talks, sampling, and referral programs.
- Provide scientific product sheets; log feedback for R&D/Marketing.
- Reporting & CRM
- Log all visits, leads, orders, collections, and next actions in CRM (same day).
- Send daily/weekly reports: coverage, new accounts, secondary sales, samplingsale %, competitor moves, pricing, and visibility.
- Compliance & Brand Safety
- Follow FSSAI/ASCI claim rules; no medical/therapeutic claims.
- Take opt-in for WhatsApp; handle data responsibly; escalate adverse events/complaints.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Experience: 2–5 years field sales in Health/FMCG/Wellness (mandatory). Proven wins in retail/distributor/gym/clinic/pharmacy channels.
- Expert Collaboration: Demonstrated work with nutritionists/dietitians/health coaches; comfort presenting nutrition benefits (spirulina/protein/greens/vegan).
- Sales Skills: Prospecting, pitching, objections, negotiation, order booking, collections follow-up.
- Territory Skills: Beat planning, outlet coverage, POSM/visibility, event execution, stock & demo kit handling.
- Languages: Tamil (fluent) and English (working). Hindi is a plus.
- Tools: CRM (Zoho preferred), WhatsApp Business, Google Sheets; smartphone proficiency.
- Logistics: Two-wheeler + valid license, willingness to work evenings/weekends for events;
Good to Have
- Regional network: Existing relationships in Coimbatore + key TN/Kerala cities; prior success appointing distributors/stockists and opening pharmacy, modern/general trade, gyms, organic/health stores.
- Expert ecosystem: Worked closely with nutritionists, dietitians, trainers, wellness clinics/AYUSH, sports academies—able to run talks/samplings and turn referrals into repeat sales.
- Multi-market readiness: English, Tamil/Malayalam/Hindi, willing to travel 8–10 days/month; hands-on with events/stalls, POSM/planograms, basic food-safety, and clean CRM reporting.
