Job Title: SFTP L2 Engineer (Globalscape MFT)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SFTP L2 Engineer with strong expertise in Globalscape EFT/MFT platforms to support, maintain, and troubleshoot secure file transfer environments, ensuring high availability, compliance, and SLA adherence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide L2 support for Globalscape SFTP/MFT (incidents, requests, problem tickets).
  • Monitor services for performance, availability, and SLA compliance.
  • Troubleshoot file transfer, connectivity, and access issues.
  • Manage user provisioning, keys, and access controls.
  • Coordinate with L3/engineering for escalations and RCA.
  • Ensure compliance with security/encryption/audit standards.
  • Maintain documentation, SOPs, and support upgrades/patches.
  • Onboard new partners/clients and configure workflows.

Required Skills:

  • 4–6 years in Network Security/Secure File Transfer.
  • Hands-on Globalscape EFT experience.
  • Strong in SFTP, FTPS, SCP, HTTPS protocols & key-based authentication.
  • Knowledge of firewalls, proxies, and troubleshooting file transfer issues.
  • ITIL process understanding & strong communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
  • Knowledge of enterprise integrations (ERP, banking, trading).
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, SOX).
  • Exposure to other MFT platforms (Axway, TIBCO, IBM Sterling).
