Job Title: MEP Engineer
Location: Vadodara or project sites across India or overseas

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced HVAC and MEP Engineer to lead HVAC/MEP projects from design through commissioning. This role involves engineering, procurement, project execution, installation, testing, and handing over centralized HVAC systems and requires readiness to travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide design consultation and ensure HVAC/MEP systems meet industry standards.
  • Oversee HVAC and MEP projects, managing all phases including chillers, VRF, ventilation, dehumidification systems, electrical wiring and plumbing systems (pipework, fixtures, drainage).
  • Approve PFDs, P&IDs, and automation specifications; develop equipment data sheets and URSs.
  • Perform plant sizing,electrical load calculations, flow calculations, pump sizing,plumbing flow requirements and heat exchanger design for HVAC systems.
  • Coordinate with OEMs and suppliers, ensuring equipment meets project needs.
  • Support on-site construction, mechanical completion, and GA drawing adherence.
  • Develop and execute commissioning & qualification (C&Q) protocols, gap analyses, and risk assessments.
  • Manage qualification activities (FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, PQ).
  • Ensure HVAC/MEP installation quality and contractor compliance with safety and technical standards.
  • Optimize HVAC processes for efficiency and safety, and train production staff.
  • Oversee project timelines, safety, quality, and update clients on progress.
  • To prepare project summary & BOQ based on end user requirements.
  • Preparation & review of enquiry Documents coordinating with user requirements.
  • Carry out technical discussion with vendors based on technical requirements.
  • To co-ordinate with agencies and contractor for work related Civil, Electrical / Instrumentationand Mechanical Execution.
  • Preparation, Verification and approval of P&IDs for utilities, Equipment GADs, Process Flow, Technical specification sheets, etc…as per process equipment
  • Compliance to code & standards in-line with process req.
  • Should have experience of Installation & commissioning of total Piping & Utility System i.e. Boiler, Chimney, Chiller,Cooling Towers, Utility Pumps, Water Treatment Plant, Air Compressor, Sewer water piping, Storm water piping network, Raw water piping, etc…

Qualifications& preferred skills:

  • Bachelor/Master in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • 5–6years' experience in MEP & HVAC works
  • Proficiency in English; strong communication and technical writing skills.
  • Experience with FDA regulations, cGMP, HVAC validation, and safety protocols.
  • Project management, problem-solving, and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel; valid passport required.
