Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated International Sales Manager with a proven track record in the chemical industry (10+ years) to drive global business development, manage key accounts, and expand our international footprint. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in international sales strategy, customer relationship management, and knowledge of chemical products, markets, and regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Develop and execute international sales strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and growth targets.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets across global regions.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and long-term agreements with distributors, agents, and customers.
Market Expansion & Customer Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and channel partners.
Conduct market research to assess competitive landscape, pricing trends, and demand drivers in the chemical sector.
Operational & Strategic Alignment
Collaborate with R&D, supply chain, and production teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with international trade regulations, chemical safety standards, and local laws.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, market intelligence, and performance reports to senior management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive sales experience in the chemical industry, with at least 5 years in an international role.
- Strong network of contacts across global chemical markets (specialty chemicals, industrial chemicals, or related sectors).
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and expanding into new territories.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations, logistics, and compliance standards.
- Willingness to travel extensively across regions.
