We are seeking a skilled and innovative Mobile App Developer to design, develop, and maintain a taxi-booking application similar to Ola/Uber. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Android and/or iOS development, experience with real-time location-based applications, and the ability to build scalable and user-friendly mobile applications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a high-quality ride-hailing mobile application for iOS and/or Android.
  • Build features such as:
  • User registration & login (OTP, email, social).
  • Real-time GPS tracking for riders and drivers.
  • Ride booking, scheduling, and ride status updates.
  • Fare calculation, distance tracking, and surge pricing.
  • In-app payments (UPI, cards, wallets).
  • Ratings & reviews system.
  • Push notifications and alerts.
  • Admin dashboard API integration.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create a modern and intuitive interface.
  • Integrate Google Maps API, Mapbox, or similar mapping services.
  • Work closely with backend developers to integrate REST APIs / GraphQL.
  • Identify and fix performance issues, crashes, and bugs.
  • Ensure app scalability, security, and smooth performance.
  • Stay updated with the latest mobile development technology trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience developing mobile apps similar to ride-hailing, logistics, or real-time tracking apps.
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Android: Kotlin/Java
  • iOS: Swift
  • Cross-platform (optional): Flutter / React Native
  • Experience with:
  • Firebase, Google Maps API / Mapbox
  • Socket communication / WebSockets
  • RESTful APIs integration
  • Payment gateways integration
  • Understanding of MVC, MVVM, or similar architecture patterns.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with admin dashboards and backend logic , PHP, Python, etc.)
  • Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, version control (Git), and testing tools.
  • Past experience in transportation, logistics, or mobility app development.
