Marketing Exhibition ManagerMain Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Achieving marketing objectives of exhibitions
  • Creating and implementing effective marketing strategies for all exhibitions, including exhibitor, conference, and visitor campaigns
  • Planning, proposing, and monitoring entire budget
  • Conducting media planning
  • Identifying appropriate media partners and associations and negotiating barter deals to maximize event exposure
  • Ensuring exhibition websites are fully up to date
  • Creating a strategic database of vendors, clients, attendees, etc.
  • Managing the PR department and ensuring smooth process flow in terms of media relations and other public relation activities
  • Coordinating and approving the design and development of all marketing collateral, including sales brochures, exhibition brochures, visitor tickets, print advertisements, and web banners/emails
  • Using new media tools such as social platforms to create new marketing channels
Education/Experience

Essential

  • Experience in exhibition marketing
  • Thorough understanding of direct marketing initiatives like email marketing
  • Experience in database development and growth including segmentation/advanced targeting
  • Online marketing experience to include search engine optimization and banner placement
  • Networking with design and print suppliers & agencies
  • Knowledge of copywriting and collateral production
  • Ability to meet deadlines and be target driven
  • Ability to work in a highly demanding environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven track record in a B2B marketing environment
