Purpose of the Job

Experienced MEP Engineer with strong expertise in Revit

project setup, templates, and family creation for all MEP

requirements. Skilled in designing and modeling large-scale

MEP systems, including data centers, while ensuring

compliance with standards such as NBC, IS, and NFPA.

Procient in reading drawings (SLD, P&ID), preparing CAD

layouts, and estimating work packages. Demonstrated

ability to optimize designs for cost savings, reliability, and

minimal rework, including clash detection and coordination

using Revit and Navisworks. Capable of independent work

as well as leading teams, with in-depth knowledge of

equipment placement, MEPF systems integration, and

continuous process improvement.

Reporting to: Engineering Head

Responsible for creang Project setup, Project template, & Revit Families for all MEP requirements.

Posi¢on will be focused on driving a con¢nuous improvement culture that eliminates re-work, provides

cost savings, and drives increased system reliability.

Intensied design experience in reputable organiza¢ons and should be capable & designing of various MEP

models.

Understanding and working with drawings.

Must have previous experience in leading the Es¢ma¢on of work packages on large scale MEP models and

Fit outs.

Understa¢ng of customer requirement and designing the suitable design to fulll the customer

requirement.

Perform engineering du¢es in concept designing, detail designing, related Models in Data Center.

Candidates should be aware of dierent codes like NBC, IS, NFPA etc., advantages will be added. And

posi¢on will ensure required clearance during modeling.

Candidate must be able to read SLD, P&ID and able to prepare the connec¢vity between equipment,

accessories during concept and detail design.

Candidate should be able to prepare drawing and layout in CAD. This will have added weightage.

Candidate should be familiar with DCs and should have detail knowledge on loca¢on or placement of

equipment like Transformer, DG, UPS, PDUs, Panels, Switchgears, HT Substa¢ons, Chillers, FWUs, PAHUs

etc.

Modeling and Co-coordina¢ng MEPF Services to create a clash free model basis on above knowledge of

above-men¢oned skills.

Prepare the clash detec¢on & Co-ordina¢on reports using Revit & Navisworks.

Ability to work independently without any other team dependencies as it is individual contribu¢on role.

Teamwork, Leadership, Organizing & Planning, con¢nuously seeking ecient ways to perform tasks and

Work Involvement.

Finalization of General Arrangement & details of equipment and other structures in coordination with

Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, re & Instrumentation requirements.

Responsible for internal, inside building and external at plot level co-ordinations.

Ensure the completion of full set of clash free model for project execution.

Support to site team as and when required remotely or by doing site visit basis on project requirement

and related clash free solution.

Ensuring compliance, clearances with specications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or

coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support or

testing activities.

Coordination with SMEs in design team, PMC, Site Engineers, eld personnel and project management

team, delivering projects eiciently by proposing eective solutions to problems encountered

Preparation of Shop drawing as an when required.

Should possess a degree in Engineering with experience DC experience will be preferable...

Thorough knowledge of the subject, denite Skills in structural problem solving & ability to deliver

the designs/ drawings & reviews within specied time schedule.

Good Software skills such as AUTOCAD, MS-Oice, Design Softwares etc.

Full familiarity of relevant codes & standards, as well as international codes.

Flair for Design Co-ordination with client, internal departments, consultants, vendors to achieve goals

using proven communication & interpersonal skills.

Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, Ability to inuence and manage in a

fast-paced and collaborative environment

Must have: Degree in Engineering

At least 8-10 years of work experience and 5years in Design Engineering.
