DescriptionThis position is accountable for the support of RTDS infrastructure and applications. The primary responsibilities include deploying and overseeing real-time software and infrastructure on the cloud/on-prem, ensuring system maintenance to optimize performance and uptime for end-users, and upholding a secure environment. The role also involves designing and implementing new technologies to meet client requirements.As an advanced technical position, it demands expert judgment and analysis in the design, development, and implementation of technical products and systems. The incumbent will be adept at resolving highly complex technical issues, conducting advanced research, and recommending process improvements to enhance product quality. Familiarity with various concepts, practices, and procedures in the field is essential. The successful candidate will leverage their extensive experience and sound judgment to effectively plan and achieve organizational goals.ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:Manage IT infrastructure services with hands-on experience across multiple technologies, including support and implementation of infrastructure projects.Provide remote support to clients and ensure smooth IT operations.Design, implement, and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions for mission-critical systems.Research, evaluate, procure, and configure IT hardware/software as required.Collaborate extensively with senior management, cross-functional teams, and business stakeholders.Lead and mentor a team of 6–10 members with strong delegation, time-management, and conflict-resolution skills.Technical Skills :Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud for deployment and infrastructure management.DevOps Tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform for automation, containerization, and orchestration.CI/CD: Experience building automated pipelines for testing, building, and deployment.Monitoring & Logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, VictorOps, WhatsUp Gold, Sensu, Status Cake.Networking: DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, load balancing, server clustering.Security: Knowledge of encryption, authentication, and access control best practices.Scripting: Python, Bash, PowerShell for automation and infrastructure-as-code.Databases: MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis including high-availability (SQL FCI, Mirroring, Clustering).Windows Technologies: Windows OS, Active Directory, IIS, WSUS, MDT.Virtualization: Hyper-V, VMware.Version Control & Collaboration: Git, Bitbucket, Confluence, Jira.Ticketing Systems: Zendesk, Jira, Azure DevOps.QualificationsREQUIREDMinimum years related experienceMust have Engineering Degree in Computer OR Information TechnologyCertifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes Certified Administrator).Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and automated testing frameworks.Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices for securing real-time systems.Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools for performance optimization and troubleshooting.PREFERREDKnowledge of ISO27001:2022 requirements:Audit supportFollows and enforces Processes and ProceduresResponsible for maintaining the infrastructure including back-ups and Disaster RecoveryKnowledge, Skills & Abilities.Travel Requirement:This role may require domestic and potentially international travel of up to:
