Zynga is hiring a Senior Animator for a flagship title. You'll partner with art, design, engineering, and product to deliver clear, performant 2D animations that enhance visuals, UX, and player engagement. You bring strong animation fundamentals and product sense, communicate crisply, improve workflows, and stay current with tools and techniques.

What You'll Do

• Create high-quality 2D/2.5D animations for UI, and VFX, characters using Spine and Unity.
• Build and maintain rigs; animate particle systems; prepare assets in Photoshop.
• Export and integrate animations into Unity/other engines (prefabs, state machines, events).
• Collaborate with tech artists, designers, engineers, and Product for smooth implementation.
• Optimize for mobile performance and consistency; ensure animations support gameplay and narrative.

What You Bring

• 6+ years in 2D/3D animation, including 4+ years in game development (mobile a plus).
• Expert Spine and Unity skills; strong 2D/2.5D rigging and in-engine implementation.
• Strong product sense and gameplay-focused animation principles; collaborative communicator.
• Version control experience (Git/Perforce).
• Bonus: 3D (e.g., Maya), VFX/particles, concept art; social casino experience.
• Portfolio: 3–4 best pieces, including a Spine rig breakdown, UI/VFX samples, and Unity in-engine captures.
