Overview The SAP HANA Developer plays a crucial role in the design, development, and deployment of solutions utilizing the SAP HANA database platform. This position is significant in ensuring that SAP HANA is effectively utilized to optimize performance and enhance data management across the organization. Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience in SAP HANA development
  • Proficiency in building SAP HANA views (calculation, attribute, and analytic)
  • Expertise in SQL, stored procedures, and performance optimization
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps for Agile workflows, including user stories, tasks, and release management
  • Experience working in Agile Scrum teams
  • Nice to Have: Basic knowledge of SAP ERP

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop data models using SAP HANA.
  • Implement and optimize SQL queries for efficiency.
  • Conduct performance tuning of database instances.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to gather requirements.
  • Integrate SAP HANA with existing applications and data sources.
  • Develop ETL processes to consolidate and transform data.
  • Monitor database performance and conduct troubleshooting.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and backup processes are in place.
  • Document technical specifications, processes, and workflows.
  • Stay updated on SAP technologies and industry trends.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure quality standards.
  • Assist in the migration of legacy systems to SAP HANA.
  • Test and validate data solutions before deployment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as an SAP HANA Developer.
  • Proficient in SQL and database management.
  • Experience with data modeling techniques and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP HANA architecture and components.
  • Familiarity with SAP BW, SAP Data Services, or similar tools.
  • Experience in performance tuning and optimization strategies.
  • Understanding of ETL processes and tools.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and complex queries.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience in developing high-quality documentation.
  • Knowledge of data governance and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certification in SAP HANA (preferred but not required).
