Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PHP Developer with strong experience in CodeIgniter 3 & 4, MVC frameworks, and front-end technologies like JavaScript and CSS. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of building scalable web applications and developing RESTful APIs using CodeIgniter 4.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using CodeIgniter 3 & 4.
  • Implement and maintain RESTful APIs following best practices and CI4 conventions.
  • Build and integrate user-facing elements using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Adhere to MVC architecture principles for application structure and logic.
  • Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and other team members to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and other Agile development practices.
  • Keep up to date with emerging trends and technologies in PHP and web development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in PHP development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with CodeIgniter 3 & 4.
  • Solid understanding of MVC frameworks and architecture.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience in building and consuming REST APIs using CodeIgniter 4.
  • Familiarity with MySQL or other relational databases.
  • Good understanding of version control systems like Git.
  • Ability to write clean, secure, and maintainable code.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with AJAX, jQuery, or modern JS frameworks (e.g., , React).
  • Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms in CI4.
  • Familiarity with CI4 services, filters, and routing systems.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Contract length: 2 weeks

Pay: ₹1, ₹1,250.00 per day
