Medihakeem Healthcare Services is looking for an experienced and dedicated Operating Theatre (OT) Staff Nurse to join our healthcare team. The OT Staff Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the operation theatre, assisting in surgeries, and ensuring that the operating room is well-prepared, sanitized, and equipped for each procedure. This position requires a professional who is committed to safety, infection control, and the well-being of patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the operating theatre and maintain sterility throughout procedures.
  • Assist surgeons during operations, ensuring proper handling and availability of surgical instruments.
  • Monitor and document patient's vital signs and condition before, during, and after surgery.
  • Provide post-operative care and ensure patient safety and comfort in the recovery phase.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team, including surgeons, anesthetists, and other nurses.
  • Ensure the highest standards of infection control and patient safety are maintained.
  • Manage inventory and prepare surgical instruments and equipment for the next procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and OT documentation.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
  • Valid nursing license and registration.
  • Minimum of 1 years of OT experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and professionally.
  • Empathy, patience, and the ability to provide compassionate care to patients.
