Job Title: Cloud Support Engineer

Location: Remote

Working Hours: UK Business Hours

Job Purpose

The Cloud Support Engineer will provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud-based systems and services. This role involves working closely with clients to ensure the availability, performance, and security of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS). The engineer will assist with incident resolution, service requests, and implementation of cloud best practices to support client business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L1–L2 support for cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or equivalent).
  • Monitor cloud systems for performance, availability, and security incidents.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to virtual machines, storage, networking, and cloud services.
  • Assist with user access management, resource provisioning, and service configurations.
  • Support backup, disaster recovery, and failover processes within cloud environments.
  • Implement and maintain cloud security controls (identity, access, policies, compliance).
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve incidents and fulfil requests.
  • Document procedures, incident resolutions, and provide technical guidance to improve cloud support processes.
  • Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies, tools, and best practices.

Skills & Experience Required

  • 3-8 years of experience as a Cloud Support Engineer, Cloud Administrator, or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform (Azure or AWS, both preferred).
  • Understanding of cloud networking concepts (VPC, VPN, DNS, firewalls, load balancers).
  • Familiarity with cloud monitoring and ticketing tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, ServiceNow, Jira).
  • Experience with scripting/automation tools (PowerShell, Bash, Python) is desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, AWS Solutions Architect Associate) are advantageous.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: From ₹750,000.00 per month
