Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair technical issues in Eveready products (e.g., rechargeable batteries, torches, lighting systems, small appliances).
  • Perform preventive maintenance and testing to ensure optimal performance of products.
  • Handle installation, demonstration, and servicing of products at customer sites or service centres.
  • Maintain accurate service records, job sheets, and feedback reports.
  • Coordinate with sales and customer support teams to address product complaints and service requests.
  • Ensure timely closure of service calls within defined turnaround times (TAT).
  • Manage spare parts inventory and report requirements to the service manager.
  • Follow company guidelines for safety, quality, and customer handling.
  • Train retailers and service partners on basic troubleshooting and product care.
  • Support warranty claim processing and product replacement as per company policy.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Education: ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: 13 years of experience in service and repair of electrical or electronic products (preferably in consumer durables, lighting, or battery industry).

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Service turnaround time (TAT) compliance.
  • First-time fix rate.
  • Customer satisfaction score (CSAT).
  • Warranty claim accuracy.
  • Field visit productivity.

Work Environment:

  • Field-based role involving travel to customer locations, dealers, and service centers.
  • May require handling small tools, testing equipment, and electrical components.
