Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Steel Detail Checker with proven expertise in Tekla Structures for structural and miscellaneous steel projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for accuracy, knowledge of AISC/NISD standards, and the ability to guide modelers and detailers to ensure zero-error deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and check Tekla 3D models, GA, shop, and assembly drawings for accuracy.
  • Ensure detailing compliance with AISC, NISD, and fabricator standards.
  • Identify modeling, dimensioning, and connection errors; provide corrective guidance.
  • Review CNC, DXF, Bolt lists, and BOM reports before submission.
  • Prepare and respond to RFIs and ensure client comments are implemented.
  • Coordinate with project leads and clients for technical discussions.
  • Mentor and guide junior modelers/detailers to maintain quality and timelines.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma / B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Tekla checking and structural steel detailing.
