Job Title: AccountantLocation: Gurugram

Job Summary:The Accountant will play a key role in maintaining the financial records of the company by using Tally ERP software to record financial transactions, generate reports, and assist with the preparation of financial statements. The ideal candidate will have experience using Tally and a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. General Accounting:
  2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Tally.
  3. Record and reconcile daily financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
  4. Ensure that accounting entries comply with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
  5. Accounts Payable & Receivable:
  6. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of payments and collections.
  7. Coordinate with vendors and customers to resolve any discrepancies related to invoices or payments.
  8. Bank Reconciliation:
  9. Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies between the company's records and bank transactions.
  10. Ensure timely updating of cash flow records and monitor bank accounts.
  11. Tax Compliance & Reporting:
  12. Assist in the preparation of tax filings, including GST, TDS, and other applicable taxes.
  13. Generate reports for tax compliance and assist with tax audits.
  14. Ensure that tax-related documents are prepared and filed in accordance with regulatory deadlines.
  15. Financial Reporting:
  16. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  17. Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts, ensuring financial data accuracy.
  18. Audits:
  19. Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing necessary documents and reports.
  20. Implement corrective actions for audit findings, if applicable.
  21. Data Management:
  22. Ensure data integrity and maintain a clean and organized accounting system within Tally.
  23. Generate financial reports, summaries, and other related documents as requested by management.
  24. Cost Control and Analysis:
  25. Monitor expenses and ensure they are within the approved budget.
  26. Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and financial efficiencies within the company.
  27. Compliance & Documentation:
  28. Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
  29. Stay updated on accounting regulations and Tally software enhancements.
