Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Modelling and Valuation Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and analyzing financial models to support decision-making processes, business planning, investments, and valuations. This role requires a deep understanding of finance, accounting, and valuation techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models for business forecasting, valuation, budgeting, and strategic planning.
  • Perform company and industry research to support financial analysis and valuation.
  • Conduct DCF, comparable company, and precedent transaction analyses.
  • Analyze financial statements and identify key trends and risks.
  • Prepare valuation reports and presentations for internal stakeholders or clients.
  • Collaborate with business units to gather inputs and ensure model accuracy.
  • Assist in mergers & acquisitions (M&A), fundraising, or investment analysis as needed.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance against forecasts and provide insights to management.

Requirements.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field (MBA/CFA is a plus).
  • 1–3 years of experience in financial modelling, investment banking, equity research, corporate finance, or similar.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Solid understanding of valuation methodologies such as DCF, comparables, and transaction comps.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Certification Research Analyst or Merchant Banking Required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in Financial Modelling & Valuation is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations, reporting standards, and investment analysis.

Salary: Compensation will be aligned with the previous salary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30, ₹40,000.00 per month
