Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA for automotive/engineering components.
  • Work on design, detailing, and drafting of assemblies, sheet metal, plastics, or machined parts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, and suppliers) to ensure design feasibility.
  • Apply GD&T principles to create accurate and production-ready drawings.
  • Conduct design reviews and implement engineering changes as required.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in CATIA V5 (Part Design, Assembly, Drafting, Surface Design).
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T, DFMEA, and tolerance stack-up.
  • Hands-on experience in product design, sheet metal, plastics, or BIW will be preferred.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Education:

  • BE/B.Tech in Mechanical/Automobile/Production Engineering (or equivalent).
