Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a SAP ABAP HANA Consultant based in Bengaluru South. The consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing SAP ABAP programs and solutions, including working with HANA data modeling and performance optimization. Additional tasks involve troubleshooting, integrating SAP modules, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions, and ensuring system efficiency and scalability.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in SAP ABAP development including Reports, Interfaces, Forms, Enhancements, and Adobe Forms.
  • Experience with SAP HANA, data modeling, CDS Views, AMDP, and performance tuning.
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with functional consultants and cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Understanding of SAP system architecture and integration methodologies, plus relevant certifications are a strong advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with prior experience in SAP ABAP development and HANA projects.

Should have 8– 10 years of relevant experience in SAP ABAP HANA.

Experience with SAP ABAP programming language Experience with SAP S/4HANA Experience with full life-cycle development Design, build, and maintain high-quality SAP ABAP applications. Develop and modify SAP modules as well as connected modules and systems. Perform complex ABAP programming, testing, and debugging functions related to the implementation of SAP modules. Ensure seamless integration of custom-built objects with other SAP modules like MM (Material Management) and FI (Financial Accounting). Provide ongoing support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms within SAP. Interfacing skills/knowledge related to IDOCs and BTP Experience in CDS Views, Table functions, Engage with functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure solutions meet functionality and compliance standards. Act as the technical expert, ensuring quick turnaround in identifying application issues and providing timely solutions Ensure all SAP solutions comply with standards. Document and maintain all code changes and customizations in accordance with standard compliance procedures. Shows initiative and goes above and beyond to assist others as needed Designing modeling OData services Experience in RICEFW Objects: Reports, Interfaces (SFTP (file), RFC/BAPI), Adobe forms, Enhancement framework: User Exits, Screen Exits, BADIs Workflow
