Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical PMO / Project Controls Analyst to support project governance, planning, reporting, and performance tracking across multiple initiatives. This role will work closely with project managers, business units, and leadership to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the implementation of project governance frameworks, tools, and standards.
• Track and report on project progress, milestones, risks, and dependencies.
• Prepare dashboards, status reports, and executive summaries for internal stakeholders.
• Assist in project planning and schedule management using tools like MS Project, Primavera, or Excel.
• Maintain detailed project plans, resource calendars, and activity trackers.
• Support change management and schedule impact analysis.
• Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and actual expenditures.
• Identify cost variances and support corrective actions in coordination with the finance team.
• Maintain financial trackers and support periodic budget reviews.
• Maintain project risk and issue logs.
• Track mitigation plans and follow up with owners for resolution.
• Support risk analysis and scenario planning.
• Maintain centralized project documentation including charters, plans, SoWs, and governance artefacts.
• Ensure adherence to PMO standards, policies, and audit requirements.
• Assist in process improvement initiatives within the PMO function.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, IT, or related field.
• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in project controls, PMO, or project coordination roles.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Azure DevOps and MS Planner.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and presentation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a deadline-driven environment.
Month-to-Month Activities (Summary):
Month 1: Onboarding, set up dashboards and trackers.
Month 2: Establish project baselines (schedule, cost).
Month 3: Monitor progress, prepare reports.
Month 4: Risk analysis, change impact assessments.
Month 5: Budget reviews, cost variance checks.
Month 6: Process optimization and automation.
Ongoing: Continuous tracking, stakeholder engagement, governance compliance.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Schedule adherence: % milestones delivered on time.
Cost control: Budget variance and forecast accuracy.
Reporting quality: Timely and accurate dashboards/reports.
Risk management: % risks mitigated and issue resolution time.
Stakeholder satisfaction: Feedback score and escalation prevention.
Process improvement: Number of enhancements and reporting efficiency.
