Job purpose:
Birla Carbon Andhra Pradesh Limited is setting up greenfield projects of 240 KTPA at Naidupeta, Nellore Dist., AP. Project is planned to complete in 2 phases 120 KTPA each. We are looking for a dynamic engineer in Instrumentation discipline who can contribute to the expansion of business within the available budget and committed timeframe
.
The role involves collaboration with the cross-functional teams to achieve the project execution by following global safety standards.

Responsibilities -

  • Review of basic Instrument engineering
  • Verification and propose corrections as per latest available technologies
  • Understand the lifecycle of projects from concept to commissioning.
  • Erection and commissioning Instrumentation installations including DCS, PLC, Analyzers, Weigh bridge, BMS for boiler and dryer, power plant controllers, iMCC etc.
  • Provide adequate services to the cross functional teams to avoid any delay in project execution
  • Able to handle the lower management team members.
  • Mobilization of contractual manpower for construction and able to handle multiple tasks at a time.
  • Must know safe practices as per global safety standards.
  • Must have focused approach towards quality of execution.
  • Deal with govt agencies related to stampings on weigh bridge etc.
  • Upkeep the drawings and documents related to Instrumentation
  • Can able to handle internal / external audits
