Business Development Executive- Restaurant Onboarding

About the Role
We are looking for energetic and driven Business Development Executives (BDEs) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for onboarding new restaurants onto our food ordering platform. You will act as the first point of contact for restaurant partners, explain the value of our platform, and close onboarding deals to drive growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential restaurant partners through cold calls, field visits, and networking.
- Pitch the platform's benefits (low commission, same pricing as dine-in, marketing support, etc.) and build strong value propositions.
- Negotiate and close onboarding agreements with restaurant owners and managers.
- Achieve weekly and monthly onboarding targets.
- Coordinate with the onboarding/operations team to ensure smooth listing of restaurants (menu, pricing, profile setup).
- Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, and conversions in CRM tools.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with restaurant partners for repeat collaboration.
- Provide regular market feedback on competitor activity and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field (preferred).
- 0–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or field marketing. Freshers with excellent communication skills are welcome.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
- Self-motivated, energetic, and comfortable with field sales.
