Assistant Manager - Smelter

  • Managing and overseeing the smelting process to ensure the efficient conversion of copper ore into high-quality copper metal
  • Implementing and maintaining safe work practices in the smelting operation, adhering to all relevant safety standards and regulations
  • Monitoring and optimizing smelting equipment and processes to maximize efficiency and productivity
  • Collaborating with the production team to achieve production targets and quality standards
  • Participating in the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives to enhance smelting operations
  • Conducting regular inspections and maintenance activities to uphold the integrity and functionality of smelting equipment
  • Managing and leading a team of smelting operators, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless operations
  • Reporting on production output, quality metrics, and any operational issues to the relevant stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability practices within the smelting process

Education Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field

Certification Required

  • Professional certification in metallurgy or related field is preferred
