About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated L2 Production Support Lead to join our remote team, responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and availability of critical production applications. The successful candidate will leverage 7.5 to 9 years of hands-on experience in a fast-paced support environment, utilizing a strong technical foundation in Java, Unix/Linux, and SQL for deep-dive issue analysis and resolution. This role requires excellent analytical skills to quickly identify and classify different types of production bugs (e.g., application defects, configuration errors, data issues) and implement timely fixes, including the ability to write and deploy small, effective code snippets (2-3 liner fixes/scripts). A core part of the responsibility will be leading and mentoring a team of 3 to 8 L1/L2 support engineers, providing guidance on complex incidents, implementing proactive monitoring, and driving continuous improvement in support processes and documentation. This is a rotational shift position covering 6 am to 3 pm and 1 pm to 10 pm monthly, acting as the primary internal L2 escalation point while coordinating effectively with the L1 testing team and development groups.
