FA Manager

Job Summary:

We are expanding our Financial Advisory (FA) practice and are looking for a dynamic Manager to help build and lead a high-performing team that integrates advanced financial modelling with deep market research. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical skills with strategic thinking someone who not only delivers exceptional models but also guides others, challenges assumptions, and contributes to shaping our analytical culture.

What Were Looking For:

• Proven modelling expertise: Strong foundation in financial modelling, with the ability to design, audit, and refine complex models for valuation, planning, and strategic decision-making.
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills: Proficiency in advanced formulas, scenario/sensitivity analysis, and dynamic model structures; VBA or automation exposure is a plus.
• Strategic mindset: Ability to see the bigger picture, connect business dynamics with financial outcomes, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Strong research and business acumen: Comfortable diving into industries, analysing market trends, and integrating qualitative and quantitative insights into assumptions.
• Leadership & mentoring ability: Capable of guiding analysts, reviewing deliverables, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
• Problem-solving orientation: Thinks critically, challenges existing frameworks, and contributes to developing best-in-class solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and review of detailed financial models across industries — including valuation, operating, and scenario planning models.
• Supervise and mentor analysts to ensure accuracy, consistency, and analytical depth in all outputs.
• Integrate market research, competitor benchmarking, and industry trends into robust modelling assumptions.
• Contribute to building and standardizing modelling frameworks, templates, and quality review processes.
• Support business development initiatives through analytical insights, pitch materials, and transaction support.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align deliverables with commercial and strategic objectives.
• Participate in designing and evaluating technical assessments for new hires to maintain a high talent bar.

Desired Skills & Background:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial modelling, valuation, or transaction advisory.
• Advanced Excel proficiency; knowledge of VBA or automation tools preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting, corporate finance, and valuation principles.
• Experience in managing client deliverables and reviewing analytical outputs.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with attention to detail.
• MBA (Finance), CA, CFA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
