Human Resource Lead

Position Purpose

To provide HR leadership and end-to-end HR support during the setup and operationalization phase of the new green field facility, ensuring smooth hiring, statutory compliance, effective workforce management, and liaison with authorities.

Semi-retired or recently retired HR professionals with sound health, who can join at short notice, are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead recruitment for staff and blue-collar workforce during the project phase.
  • Ensure statutory and labour law compliance applicable in Maharashtra.
  • Manage HR operations at the plant including time office, attendance, payroll coordination, and contract labour management.
  • Drive workforce training, skill development, and onboarding programs.
  • Liaise with statutory authorities, local bodies, contractors, and external stakeholders for compliance and smooth project execution.
  • Support plant leadership in building employee relations and maintaining harmonious industrial relations.
  • Provide HR inputs for policies and systems suited to the new facility setup.
  • Contribute to smooth establishment of HR processes and practices for the greenfield project.

Qualification & Experience

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in HR, IR or related field.
  • 15+ years of HR experience, with strong exposure to plant HR operations.
  • Excellent knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance in Maharashtra.
  • Hands-on experience in recruitment, training, employee relations, and liaison with statutory bodies.
  • Prior exposure to greenfield plant setup will be an added advantage.
